Anderlecht still has to pay 1 million euros to Vandenhaute

Genk wants to keep Onuachu

Manager Kindermans resigns at Club Brugge

RSC Anderlecht still has to pay KRC Genk one million euros for the transfer of Wouter Vandenhaute. Genk has sent a payment reminder to Anderlecht, which is already running up against a payment deadline. Anderlecht has until 31 October to pay the amount. If they do not do this, Genk will claim a late payment interest of 5 percent, which amounts to 50,000 euros per year. Vandenhaute transferred from Genk to Anderlecht in the summer of 2020.

KRC Genk wants to keep striker Paul Onuachu at the club longer. The Nigerian's contract expires in June 2024 and Genk wants to start talks with him about an extension. Onuachu is said to earn two million euros a year at Genk. In order to keep him, Genk will have to at least equal that amount. Onuachu has managed to score 72 goals in 120 matches for Genk so far. This season he already managed to score nine times in 13 games.

Manager Michel Preud'homme already announced several weeks ago that he will be leaving Club Brugge next summer. Now his assistant manager Jan Kindermans has also announced that he will be leaving the club. Kindermans' contract expires in the summer of 2024, but he has informed Club Brugge that he will not be extending his contract.
